Every 15 days, the Apni Pathshala family meets again for our favourite tradition, Team Talks!
It is that time when every department, from PODs to Tech, from Computers to Social Media, shares what moved forward, what slowed us down, and what kept us guessing.

This fortnight came with its own mix of chaos and celebration.
We celebrated the birthdays of Tejas and Pranav, adding some joyful moments to a busy schedule. At the same time, a sudden power cut and internet failure caused a lot of inconvenience across the office and slowed down multiple tasks.
But even with the disruptions, the team handled everything with patience, teamwork, and humour, turning a challenging day into a memorable one.

Let’s dive into what the last two weeks looked like across the organisation.

POD Management Team

The POD Team continued to work closely with new and existing PODs, focusing on onboarding, reporting, and improving internal workflows.

Achievements

  • Conducted orientation and introductory meetings with new PODs.
  • Coordinated with Stationery and Incubation PODs regarding weekly reports, PC issues, banners, and insights.
  • Began work on the Weekly Report Automation Workflow and code structure to streamline reporting.

Challenges

  • Delay in receiving weekly reports from multiple PODs.
  • Difficulty getting clear photos and original videos from POD leaders.
  • Google Form link issues and workflow mismatches confused a few PODs.

Tech Team

The Tech Team is a combination of the Website Team, Computer Team, and Student Safety Software Team, the builders, fixers, protectors, and problem-solvers behind everything digital at Apni Pathshala.

Website Team

The Website Team worked across departments to support content, automation, system improvements, and new digital features.

Achievements

  • Successfully tested PMS ( POD Management System )
  • Created and finalised the new AP Target Sheet.
  • Monitored the chatbot and reported multiple bugs to the Beyond Chat team.
  • Successfully fixed the mobile notification system.
  • Successfully redesigned the Apna PC page with improved structure and clarity.

Challenges

  • The website went down, causing delays in regular work and monitoring.
  • New errors appeared on the blog and other website pages, requiring additional troubleshooting and fixes.
  • The POD Management System is nearing completion, but a few feedback points and remaining errors still need to be resolved.

Student Safety Software (SSS) Team

The SSS team focused on safe environments, smooth logins, and system improvements for supervised learning.

Achievements

  • Successfully enrolled 600+ students across different PODs.
  • Created and deployed a browser-blocking script that allowed only Chrome and ensured safe login.
  • Fixed system login and configuration issues to speed up enrollment.
  • Blocked gaming websites across multiple PODs.
  • Started granting dashboard access to POD Admins for independent monitoring.
  • Created content with PODs remotely with the help of the Student Safety Software system.

Challenges

  • Delays from POD leaders slowed student data verification.
  • Scogo login and server issues caused repeated interruptions.
  • Inconsistent device settings across PODs affected rollout speed.
  • Low student login response delayed final reporting.
  • Students in some PODs attempted to bypass restrictions using alternate browsers.

Computer Team

The Computer Team continued to ensure that all PODs stay functional, supported, and updated.

Achievements

  • Successfully deployed PCs in 2 new PODs and 1 POD in transit.
  • Resolved several technical complaints through calls and on-ground assessment.
    • Example: Fixed Windows corruption errors at LFP Tardeo.
  • Introduced a new tracking procedure for PCs inactive for more than 5 days, helping the POD Team follow up faster.

Challenges

  • Two shipments for complaint resolution could not be completed due to:
    • Poor coordination with the POD contact person
    • Incorrect or unclear addresses

Social Media and Marketing Team

The Social Media Team stay focused on storytelling, outreach, and student-led content, and we also welcomed a new member to our team named Seema Rajput.

  • Successfully collaborated with Tardeo students to produce high-quality Eklavya video content.
  • Successfully coordinated smoothly with PODs and utilised the Student Safety Software for remote content creation.
  • Made solid progress in the Super 100 project, with 22 students already shortlisted for computer distribution.
  • Received a new student application directly from the BMC blog, showing improved engagement and reach.
  • Increased content output, with Malpani Sir beginning to write and publish regular blogs.

Challenges

  • Faced reduced team capacity due to overlapping leaves (Saurav’s vacation and Krish’s emergency leave), impacting scheduling and execution speed.
  • Despite consistent posting, no content reached viral-level traction, signalling the need for stronger hooks and creative experimentation.

Conclusion

From onboarding new PODs and improving tech systems to rolling out safety features, fixing PCs, and expanding our online reach, every team played a crucial role in keeping Apni Pathshala moving forward.

Despite delays, bugs, power cuts, and coordination challenges, the last two weeks were full of growth, new ideas, smarter systems, and stronger teamwork.

As we step into the next cycle, the goal remains the same: better PODs, better learning, and better systems, every single day.
