Team talks of Apni Pathshala - Episode 6

Every 15 days, the Apni Pathshala family sits down for our favourite ritual, Team Talks! It’s that time again when every department, from PODs to Tech, from PCs to Social Media, shares what’s new, what’s working, and what’s still giving us a little headache.
This fortnight also brought a big milestone as the National Science Seminar (NSS) event, in partnership with Apni Pathshala, successfully wrapped up, bringing hands-on learning and inspiration to our students and POD leaders.

Let’s jump right into the action!

POD Management Team

Apni Pathshala POD Team opening new PODs

The POD team has been in mission mode over the last two weeks, handling new applications, MoUs, and receiving updates from PODs. The team also welcomed a new member, Aniket Ravate.

Achievements:

  • Processed new applications for Sawarkar Help Foundation, Swami Vivekanand Computer Academy, and Child Rights Foundation.
  • Ordered shiny new PCs for Life Skills Foundation, HUDSA, and Diya Foundation.
  • Managed MoUs for 3–4 new PODs and completed video-based lab reviews.
  • HUDSA and other PODs cleared the approval stage after documentation checks.
  • Sent out KYC forms to keep all new centres compliant.

Challenges:

  • Some PODs skipped the shared content script even after reminders.
  • A few missed their weekly and monthly reports.
  • Delays occurred when new PODs required extra time for document processing and PC setups, such as BHSS Peren.

Tech Team

Whether it’s improving the website, setting up new computers, or ensuring student safety online, the Tech Team does it all! They’re the quiet force working behind every click, classroom, and computer. From coding and troubleshooting to shipping PCs and monitoring the safety of students, this team keeps the entire digital side of Apni Pathshala alive and thriving.

Website Team

The website team was in full swing, upgrading how visitors experience Apni Pathshala online.

Achievements:

  • Rolled out a brand-new search system where users can find PODs, posts, comics, courses, and success stories, all in one place!
  • Added new courses to the website, giving students and PODs free access to learn coding, data analysis, Python, data science, data structures, and machine learning. Now students can explore modern tech skills and brighten their future!
  • Fixed a small hiccup with the newsletter form that was causing repeat submissions. Result? More subscribers than ever!
  • Faced a minor downtime on Germany servers, fixed in under 5 minutes flat.
  • Began work on a new in-house software system that’ll soon take operations and automation to the next level.

Challenges:

  • That sneaky newsletter bug caused a temporary glitch.
  • Some feature tests took longer than expected, but the foundation is now stronger than ever!

Yes, there were delays, bugs, and festive breaks. But there was also teamwork, problem-solving, and plenty of progress.

One Response

  1. This Team Talks update shows very clearly how much work every department is doing behind the scenes. It is nice to see new PODs opening, PCs being delivered, students getting enrolled, and the website improving at the same time. Even with delays, server issues, holidays, and missing reports, the teams still managed to keep everything moving. The NSS event highlight also added a positive touch to this cycle. Overall, this update shows real teamwork and steady progress across the organisation. Looking forward to seeing how the next 15 days go
