Profile Of NPO

Apni Pathshala is a nonprofit startup building a nationwide community microschool network with leaders, NGOs, and schools. Each POD operates as a small local digital learning center with 10 computers, ongoing guidance, and curated open-source learning resources. From Jammu & Kashmir to Tamil Nadu, and from Gujarat to Nagaland, we provide computers, continuous support, and learning opportunities to every POD.

Our vision is to create self-learners by empowering students, parents, and communities, while building a decentralized and replicable education model that can be adapted locally and scaled organically without central control.

Mission

Our mission is to open 1,000 community learning centres (PODs) and reach up to 100,000 students across India by 2026.

Tech Department Overview

Strengthening Digital Systems

In 2025, the Tech Department played a key role in strengthening Apni Pathshala’s digital foundation by moving from fragmented, reactive systems to a more structured and reliable setup. Core digital, hardware, safety, and software processes were stabilised, in-house capabilities were built, and scalable systems were put in place to support consistent POD operations and long-term growth.

Website & Digital Infrastructure

In 2025, Apni Pathshala strengthened its website and digital systems by building an in-house team, improving performance and security, and introducing clear workflows and monitoring. These changes reduced downtime, improved reliability, and created a scalable digital foundation to support growing POD operations.

Software & Internal Tech Operations

Apni Pathshala improved internal tech operations by reducing manual workload through software adoption, automation, and system standardisation. Centralised tools, audits, and documentation strengthened day-to-day POD operations, improved data visibility, and created a more structured foundation for internal technology management and future scalability.

Apni Prerna

Apni Prerna strengthened student safety and device management across PODs by introducing a centralised software system for visibility, control, and remote support. The initiative enabled structured installation and rollout, improved tracking of inactive PCs, and allowed faster issue resolution, creating a safer and more reliable digital learning environment for students.

Months Rebranding Overview

Apni Pathshala successfully completed the AP rebranding with a clear theme, aligned visuals, updated brand assets, and a new blog format across Instagram and YouTube. Initial confusion and legacy blog and content posts posed some challenges.

Content Guide Overview

Apni Pathshala introduced a structured content guide to help PODs create content, assess learning outcomes, and showcase their work publicly. While it worked well for PODs 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2, uniform content expectations reduced its effectiveness for some 2.0 PODs.

Social Media Growth Overview

Apni Pathshala recorded strong digital growth this year. Instagram grew by 340%, YouTube by 186%, and LinkedIn by 615%, while Twitter and Facebook saw steady gains. Website visits increased from 9.7k to 34k (250%), and overall AP social media visits surged from 13.9k to 679.4k, reflecting significant growth in visibility and audience reach across platforms.

New Pod Application Overview Via-LinkedIn

Apni Pathshala received 76 POD applications through social media, including 35 high-quality and 41 low-quality submissions. In addition, the team connected with an average of 110 new LinkedIn profiles per month to support consistent application outreach.
