Weekly Responsibilities During Incubation

Purpose

Here, it explains your weekly responsibilities as a POD leader during the incubation period. Following these steps will help your POD meet Apni Pathshala’s quality standards and move successfully to the next stage.

What You Must Do Every Week

1. Share Weekly Class Update

  • You must submit 1 class update every week.
  • The update should answer 6 specific questions given by the POD team.
  • Purpose: To show what is being taught, how students are learning, and any challenges you face.

2. Submit 2 Videos

Every week, you must send:

  1. 1 Student Learning Video – Show a student learning or doing an activity.
  2. 1 Content Guide Video – Show the teaching process, such as explaining a topic or guiding a student.

Tips:

  • Make sure videos are clear and the sound is audible.
  • Try to feature different students each time, not the same child repeatedly.
  • Keep the background neat.

3. Respond to Follow-Up Calls

  • The incubation coordinator may call you for a performance check-in (usually once a week).
  • This is only if needed — there won’t be unnecessary calls.
  • Be ready to answer questions and share any updates or problems.

4. Maintain Records

  • Keep your POD details updated in the Baby POD sheet.
  • Store your weekly updates, videos, and reports in the shared drive folder.
  • Organise files with clear names so they can be found easily.

5. Follow Reminders

  • In your first 3 weeks, you may receive a Friday reminder to share updates and videos.
  • Try to develop the habit so you don’t need reminders later.

6. Report Issues Immediately

  • If you face technical problems (e.g., the computer is not working, the internet is down), tell your coordinator quickly.
  • The goal is to fix it within 7 days, so learning is not interrupted.

7. Practice and Share Good Examples

  • If you see a method or activity that works well, share it with your coordinator.
  • Your example may be used to inspire other POD leaders.

Why These Weekly Responsibilities Matter

  • Keeps your POD on track for promotion after incubation.
  • Helps the AP team understand your progress and needs.
  • Ensures students get consistent and quality learning experiences.
  • Builds your skills as a leader who can manage tasks on time.

Your Weekly Checklist

  • 1 Class Update (6 questions) submitted
  • 1 Student Learning Video submitted
  • 1 Content Guide Video submitted
  • Baby POD sheet updated
  • Files organised in the shared drive
  • Any issues reported within 24 hours
  • Follow-up call attended (if scheduled)
